Job Description
The Department of State Hospitals-Napa has a vacancy for a part-time Senior Psychiatrist Specialist. The Senior Psychiatrist Specialist serves as a forensic psychiatrist attending for our general psychiatry residency training program (Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center). The Senior Psychiatrist Specialist oversees the work completed by the general psychiatry residents on their forensic psychiatry rotation. Other responsibilities include the attendance and participation in residency activities such as the clinical competency committee, program evaluation committee, interviews for prospective residents and journal clubs. The Senior Psychiatrist Specialist completes forensic assignments for our
