Job Description
This position performs operational and strategic analysis of criminal information, cases and activities to identify developing trends and/or patterns in support of the agency's mission. The Analyst plays a critical role in the day-to-day information and intelligence management activities within the Santa Fe Police Department, by reviewing, collating, analyzing, and disseminating threat and analytical information and finished intelligence analysis products to the Santa Fe Police Department, law enforcement community, and public safety stakeholders. The employee serves to improve Santa Fe Police Department and stakeholder decision making through the execution of defined analytical techniques designed to identify valuable information and intelligence that may disrupt criminal activities that threaten the City of Santa Fe's public safety, quality of life and critical infrastructure.
