Description
QUALIFICATIONS
Education - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Criminal Justice Administration or research related discipline. Experience - Three (3) years' experience in analysis or research related position. Experience in public speaking. Must possess advanced computer skills and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Law enforcement experience is favorable. Must work independently from verbal instructions and communicate effectively. Must be a self-starter. Certification - IALEIA, IACA or equivalent certification preferred.
DUTIES:
Prepare investigative analysis to produce intelligence products to include, link analysis, event flow mapping, association charts, geolocation analysis, crime scene diagramming, cryptocurrency tracing, and social media analysis. Collect, evaluate, and analyze investigative data, identifying patterns, relationships, and actionable intelligence. Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and sound analytical judgment. Develop and implement plans to meet analytical objectives and project deadlines. Present analytical findings to investigators, prosecutors, and court officials through written reports, briefings, and testimony when required. Maintain current knowledge of criminal analysis methodologies, law enforcement practices, and criminal justice trends. Work independently under general supervision while collaborating effectively with team members and partner agencies. Handle law enforcement-sensitive information, including potentially graphic or offensive material, with professionalism and discretion. Assist in accomplishing the goals and objectives of ROCIC and any other duties or projects assigned by the Criminal Intelligence Analytical Manager.
