This position is responsible for the managing of digital evidence relating to the Sheriff's Office Crime Records & Analysis Division. The position provides support to the Investigators, District and County Courts, District Attorney's Office, and the Legal Department.COMPLEXITY / SCOPE OF WORK
The work consists of varied tasks associated with video and audio technology. The purpose of this position is to assist in the collection, organization, preparation, and availability of video/audio evidence. Success in this position contributes directly to the successful prosecution of criminal cases. This position responds to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. Performs professional work that is challenging and varied in nature within general guidelines. Maintains confidentiality and integrity of sensitive evidence and records.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants must meet the following criteria: Knowledge and competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the occupational field, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. High School Diploma or GED. Valid Texas Driver's License. Ability to pass a Criminal Background check. Excellent organization and office procedure skills. Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with the public. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including drafting both routine and technical correspondence, reports, and specialized legal documents. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with audio and video software is a plus.To Apply:
