For more information, check out www.zedcor.com. Position Overview We are hiring a Manager, Investigations to lead and manage our Investigations Team. This position requires a background in law enforcement investigations, with experience in dedicated investigative units (including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security Investigations, or major crimes / intelligence units within police services). This role is designed for an experienced investigator who has handled complex cases, built files, and worked across agencies.
You will oversee investigations tied to incidents from our video monitoring platform, ensuring cases are handled properly from intake through resolution. This includes reviewing evidence, guiding case direction, supporting incidents that may lead to criminal charges, and working directly with law enforcement. This is a hands-on, client-facing leadership role — you will engage directly with clients, collaborate with internal teams, work closely with local police and law enforcement agencies, and lead investigators while stepping into cases when needed to drive outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Investigations team Oversee all active investigations from intake through resolution Review video evidence, alarm data, and case timelines Ensure cases are complete, accurate, and backed by solid evidence Act as primary liaison with local and federal law enforcement Build and maintain relationships with police departments and investigative units Work directly with clients, providing updates, managing escalations, and supporting high-risk situations Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Monitoring and Operations teams Identify trends, risks, and patterns to improve investigative outcomes and overall performance Maintain proper evidence handling and chain-of-custody Prepare and review reports suitable for law enforcement or legal use Establish standards, workflows, and accountability across the Investigations function Train and develop team members Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Requirements 7+ years in a dedicated investigative role Background in complex investigations (major crimes, intelligence, organized crime, etc.) Proven experience in case building, evidence handling and working with law enforcement Strong report writing and communication skills Experience working with video or digital evidence Sound judgment and decision-making, especially in high-pressure situations Proven leadership ability with a focus on accountability and team development Highly organized, able to manage multiple cases and priorities Professional presence in client-facing and law enforcement interactions Compensation & Benefits $90,000 - $110,000 per year Annual compensation reviews 2 weeks paid vacation Health, dental, vision, and life insurance paid by Zedcor Why Join Zedcor?
