Essential Elements:
Print Supervise students during breakfast, nutrition, and lunch periods in and around the areas serviced by nutrition services and in other designated student areas adjacent to nutrition services; report special student behavior problems; encourage and remind students of acceptable behavior; ensure that students remain in properly assigned eating areas; ensure the eating areas are properly cleaned and cleared by students; assist in food preparation or other food service related duties within the cafeteria; maintain order and encourage safe and sanitary procedures and practices of eating areas; assist with student serving lines; report any unsafe conditions or equipment in the nutrition services area as required; report all accidents or injuries to the proper authority; will obtain emergency assistance for accidents, if necessary; instruct and monitor students in proper conduct in the nutrition services areas.

The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for Nutrition Service Aide. This position is located at Vineland Elementary School. Under supervision of the principal or designee to provide general support in the cafeteria including food preparation and supervision for students during breakfast, nutrition break, and lunch periods in designated nutrition services areas of the school; and to do related work as may be required.
