Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, positive, and student-focused Support Staff Member to assist in maintaining a safe, organized, and productive learning environment for middle and high school students. The ideal candidate is collaborative, flexible, and committed to supporting both students and staff in daily school operations. Key Responsibilities Support teachers and administrators in daily school operations Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially as needed Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, or during transitions Help maintain a safe and orderly school environment Provide support with instructional activities, small groups, or classroom tasks Monitor student behavior and reinforce school expectations and policies Assist with clerical tasks, materials preparation, and classroom organization Communicate effectively with staff regarding student needs or concerns Support school events, testing, and special activities when needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate's degree or college coursework (preferred) Experience working with middle and/or high school students (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in a school or youth development setting Classroom management or student supervision experience Familiarity with supporting diverse learners Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
