Lunch Monitor & After School Teacher Gateway Christian Academy Orange City, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Professional development assistance Qualifications Youth recreational activities facilitation Serving Working with 5th graders Child supervision Full Job Description Faith Based Private School is seeking a loving, creative, enthusiastic & responsible person to be with our school age children as Lunch Monitor and After School Teacher. This is a simultaneous position in which the person will be responsible for creating, planning and implementing activity schedule for students grade K- 5th. Activities may include but are not limited to: arts and crafts, sports activities, science experiments, group games and other weekly themed activities. As the Lunch Monitor, the person will be responsible in serving food items, monitoring students, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the food service areas. Position is for immediate hire. We are willing to train the right candidate!
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Pass a Background Screening
- 45 hours DCF Training
- Have 1 year prior experience in a childcare setting (preferred)
- Must be fully available between 7am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
