At Andy Frain Services, we extend our comprehensive security services to ensure public safety in community environments. We are seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard who will play a crucial role in safeguarding pedestrians, with a primary focus on children en route to and from school. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a steadfast commitment to community safety and possess strong situational awareness. This position is crucial for maintaining safe passage in high-traffic areas during designated times, ensuring that community members can navigate busy intersections and crossings safely. Assist and ensure safe crossing of children and other pedestrians at designated crosswalks Manage the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic effectively during peak hours Communicate clearly with pedestrians and drivers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to school officials and local authorities promptly Engage with the public in a courteous and positive manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed Participate in training and safety briefings to stay updated on best practices in traffic management and safety protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills High alertness and attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Good physical condition, able to stand and walk for extended periods Basic understanding of local traffic regulations First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred. Traffic management or safety training is a plus.
