PM Chaperone Requirement:

New Trier Staff Member Trip Overview:

Chaperones are needed to support orchestra students during Graduation practice and performance activities on Sunday, May 31, 2026 . This role focuses on student supervision and logistical support during travel to and from NOW Arena (Hoffman Estates) and while on site for the commencement ceremony.

Chaperone Role Overview:

The chaperone will provide supervision and coordination support for orchestra students participating in New Trier Graduation activities. This role is supervisory and supportive in nature and does not include musical instruction or trip planning responsibilities .

Chaperone Expectations:

Scope of Responsibilities Report to New Trier High School as scheduled prior to departure.

Supervise students during all transitions:

Departure from New Trier Travel to NOW Arena Time on site at the venue Return travel to New Trier Ride school‑provided transportation and remain with assigned student groups. Assist with student movement, seating, waiting periods, and transitions at the venue. Support orchestra staff and administrators with logistics as needed (e.g., attendance checks, equipment movement, lunch supervision). Supervision & Student Safety Maintain active supervision of students at all times. Reinforce school expectations and appropriate behavior. Assist with headcounts and attendance throughout the day. Communicate student concerns or issues promptly to supervising staff. Student Schedule

• Sunday, May 31, 2026 Graduation Ceremony (NOW Arena) 11:00 AM
• Arrive at NTHS in concert attire; take attendance and load buses 11:45 AM
• Bus departs NTHS for NOW Arena 12:45 PM
• Warm‑up and rehearsal 1:30 PM
• Lunch 3:00 PM
• Graduation Ceremony 5:00 PM
• Depart NOW Arena; return to NTHS (~6:00 PM)
