JOB GOAL
Supervise the cafeteria during lunchtime
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Be familiar with, communicate, and follow written policies, procedures and directions from supervisor related to job responsibilities Communicate and facilitate cafeteria expectations to students, staff, and guests Circulate through cafeteria for approximately two (2) hours Responsible to ensure the tables and chairs are clean and ready for the next class Assist students and guests in finding appropriate seating Actively monitor and manage the conduct and manners of students Notify the principal when extreme misconduct occurs Be aware of and assist students with specific needs based on physical and/or mental constraints Assist students in opening milk cartons, thermos, etc Remind children, when necessary, to leave eating area clean and orderly Assist students in lining up when lunch period is over and communicate with classroom teacher the behavior of their class on a daily basis Report to the principal any ideas or suggestions for improving the dining pleasure of all Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Length of school year not to exceed 175 pupil attendance days, 4 holidays and 1in-service day Daily work schedule determined by principal
