Our program provides a safe and nurturing space for children grades PreK- Grade 8 to gather after school and engage in a variety of activities. Extended Day staff members are responsible for coordinating activities, fostering positive relationships, and other duties as assigned. Morning and afternoon shifts are available. Morning hours are 6:45-8:00 a.m. Monday-Friday. Afternoon hours are 2:45-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Essential functions include but are not limited to: Lead activities in assigned small group Ensure student safety during activities Monitor hygiene and social distancing habits in assigned small group Prepare and supervise student snack Keep track of student dietary restrictions and allergies Oversee daily sign in and sign out procedures Follow safety and emergency procedures Assist in daily cleaning and sanitization procedures Report and significant concerns or incidents to Extended Day/Enrichment Coordinator A clear commitment to the educational philosophy of Sacred Heart Schools is essential.
