Scheduled:
Monday-Friday, 3-5 PM after school starts; Saturday morning practices and meets TBD
Summary:
Seeking an adult to run alongside a student during Track practices and events to provide support. Must be able to keep pace and ensure the student's safety.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and accompany a student with an intellectual disability during all Track practices, including runs in the community. Ensure the student's physical safety by monitoring surroundings, maintaining close proximity, and following established safety protocols. Provide verbal prompts, encouragement, and assistance to help the student follow the coach's directions and stay on course. Communicate any concerns or incidents promptly to the coach or designated school staff. Support positive social interaction and inclusion with teammates while respecting the student's individual needs and abilities.
