Technician, Campus Supervisor, 1st Shift

Campus Supervisor @ Lincoln High School Supervise students during entry, passing periods, lunch, dismissal, and school activities. Campus Supervisors help set the tone and culture in a school building as it relates to expectations, behavior, and discipline. This individual will be a part of a larger team of five Campus Supervisors who work together to ensure students are safe.

Required Skills:

Applicant must care about and enjoy working with young adults. Applicant must embody the characteristics of a "warm demander", meaning they "expect a great deal of their students, convince them of their own brilliance, and help them to reach their potential in a disciplined and structured environment." Applicant must have the ability to interpret and enforce school rules and regulations for high school aged students.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Applicant should have experience in one or more of the following areas: conflict resolution, restorative practices, middle/high school setting, or managing teenagers. Duties & Responsibilities Provide structured supervision of student movement and activities. Respond to teacher request for support with student issues. Communicate with students, their teachers, and their administrators regarding disciplinary matters. Work with students in the areas of reflection, decision-making, and restorative practices. Be a calming authority presence in situations that may be deemed stressful. Hourly pay rate $18.35 Calendar 180

NOTE:

The hours are approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, M - F. Exact hours will be determined by LHS.
