Instructs an assigned group of children, grades K-5th, in an academic based after school program.Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
1 year of college (education majors or related field preferred) 1 year experience as an Extended School Day/After School site Supervisor or related field.Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to successfully work with children grades K-5th Availability to work Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30pm and some Saturdays Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsExperience:
Experience working with children or adults in a structured environmentKey Responsibilities:
Lead site Supervisor for the campus. Instructs an assigned group of children, grades K-5th, in social, recreational, enrichment, and academic based activitiesWorking Conditions:
Mental Demands:
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interprets policy, procedures and data; coordinates district functions; maintains emotional control under stress.Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Frequent district-wide and occasional statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Prolonged use of computer and repetitive hand motions.
