DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors student behavior in the cafeteria according to school policies and procedures (refers behavior issues to the teacher or principal according to school guidelines). Circulates throughout the cafeteria assisting students with the flow of meal service, opening packages/milk cartons, cleaning up minor spills, recycling/trash, etc. Lines students up at scheduled times to return to the classroom. Encourages good table manners. Communicates with students and school staff in a positive and professional manner. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Physically able to perform duties assigned at sufficient speed. Effective communication skills. Functional skills in reading and writing English. Ability to use good judgment and be dependable.
