JOB TITLE
Recess Coach

School Resource Manager
FLSA STATUS
Non-exempt Position starts August 2026 QUALIFICATIONS Born-again Christian and credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Scriptures. Active member of an evangelical Trinitarian church. Accepts and supports the school's statement of faith and indicates a continuing sense of God's direction in working at Lighthouse Christian School. Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to work as part of a team Positive and patient attitude Clear and confident communication skills Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement Ability to perform job requirements (ie. standing for extended time) 1-2 years of experience with school aged children, preferred but not required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise students during the assigned recess Ability to analyze situations and adopt an effective and calm course of action Facilitates positive, productive interactions during recess including conflict-resolution Ability to properly administer first aid if necessary Maintain recess equipment Reports discipline issues to administration in a timely and clear manner Participate in meetings, devotions, professional learning community and Inservice as required Maintain consistent, punctual attendance
WORK REQUIREMENTS
Part time, non-exempt position based upon the school year calendar. Hourly wage as outlined in the annual at-will employment letter.
