Full-Time, 10-Month Overview of the Position The Student Success & Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive school environment rooted in the mission of St. Joan Antida High School. This individual supports daily school operations by providing building coverage, coordinating testing, and proactively assisting students in meeting expectations for attendance, uniform, and engagement. Support the spiritual formation of students. Major Duties & Responsibilities 1. Student Support & Presence Maintain a consistent presence throughout the building to ensure students are where they need to be throughout the school day Support students in meeting school expectations, including uniform compliance, punctuality, and appropriate behavior Build positive relationships with students to promote accountability and belonging Address minor student needs proactively and redirect behavior in alignment with school expectations Communicate with families (calls/emails) in both English and Spanish regarding attendance, uniform, or student concerns 2. Building Coverage & Substitute Support Serve as a building substitute teacher, providing coverage for classes when needed Ensure students remain engaged and on task during coverage periods Assist with supervision during transitions, lunch (Jag40), arrival, and dismissal 3. Assessment & Testing Coordination Coordinate all school-wide testing processes (ACT, PreACT, MAP, and other assessments) Manage testing schedules, logistics, and communication with staff, students, and families Ensure compliance with testing protocols and accommodations Support staff in understanding testing procedures and expectations 4. Daily Operations Support Assist in maintaining smooth daily operations across the school Monitor hallways and common areas to ensure a focused and safe learning environment Support administrative needs related to student supervision and logistics Collaborate with administration, counseling, and the school social worker to support student needs 5. Faith & Community Alignment Model and support the Catholic mission and values of St. Joan Antida High School Encourage student growth in responsibility, respect, and integrity Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful school culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (education, social work, or related field preferred) Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required Experience working with high school students strongly preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to balance structure and support in working with students Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities Comfortable taking initiative and being a visible presence throughout the school Ideal Candidate Enjoys working directly with students and building relationships Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic school environment Is proactive, observant, and solutions-oriented Holds students accountable while maintaining a supportive and positive approach Is aligned with the mission and pillars of St. Joan Antida High School Physical Requirements Requires prolonged standing, walking, and movement throughout the building Ability to navigate classrooms, hallways, and common spaces throughout the day Occasional lifting and carrying of materials Application Process To apply for the position at St. Joan Antida High School, please submit a resume and cover letter to: Melanie Berexa, Principal St. Joan Antida High School is an equal-opportunity employer and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds.
