Job Description

job summary: An industry leading manufacturer of customized, turnkey solutions for the retail and industrial manufacturing space is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team near Eclectic, Alabama. This organization has been established for over 65 years with more than 2.4 million square feet of state-of-the-art production space. In this critical role, you will champion their
ISO 9001
Quality Management System development, lead root cause investigations, and work cross-functionally to prevent defects and ensure products meet customer standards. The starting salary is commensurate with experience up to $90K plus excellent health and retirement benefits. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Eclectic, Alabama job type: Permanent salary: $60,000 - 90,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Assist with
ISO 9001
2015 readiness activities, including procedures, records, audits, risk assessments, training, and management review inputs.

Create and maintain quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions, forms, inspection records, and process flow documentation.

Support document control and record control activities through SharePoint, Q-Connect, SAP, or other approved systems.

Participate in internal audits, layered process audits, product audits, and process audits. Lead or support root cause investigations for internal defects, customer complaints, supplier issues, escapes, and recurring nonconformances. Develop practical shop-floor quality controls, visual standards, setup sheets, inspection aids, and go/no-go gauges. Develop inspection plans, check sheets, sampling plans, and quality control methods.
