Job Description

Job Overview The Document Control Specialist is responsible for supporting project documentation, daily inspection reports, and document turnover activities for construction and engineering projects. This role works closely with engineers, QA/QC teams, and project stakeholders to ensure required documents are accurate, organized, properly tracked, and submitted on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to coordinate with multiple team members in a fast-paced project environment. Key Responsibilities Assist engineers with preparing, collecting, reviewing, and organizing daily inspection reports. Maintain and track project documents, including inspection records, ITPs, checklists, NCRs, RFIs, and turnover documents. Coordinate with engineers to ensure daily reports and required documentation are completed and submitted on schedule. Support daily inspection scheduling and engineer assignment coordination. Submit and turn over required inspection reports and project documents to the client or project stakeholders. Maintain organized electronic and physical document control records. Ensure project documents follow company, project, and client documentation standards. Communicate with internal teams regarding missing information, revisions, deadlines, and document status. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage document tracking, deadlines, and follow-ups. Basic understanding of construction, engineering, or QA/QC documentation, such as daily reports, ITPs, checklists, NCRs, RFIs, and turnover packages. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in document control, project coordination, QA/QC documentation, construction administration, or engineering support. Experience in semiconductor, high-tech facility, industrial construction, cleanroom, MEP, or related project environments. Familiarity with QA tracking tools or construction management platforms such as Smartsheet, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Procore, SharePoint, or similar systems. Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin is a plus.
