Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support entry and exit procedures in alignment with site protocols. Assist with routine security-related checks of doors, gates, lighting, and other key areas, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity according to post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess 6+ months of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Possess customer service experience preferred. Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license preferred. Possess a guard card or license preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
