$70,000 - $76,000 (Full-Time, Exempt) Job Description Our client, a large public infrastructure organization managing long-term capital improvement and construction programs, is seeking a Document Controls Technician II to support document control operations across multiple active projects. This role is critical in maintaining organized, compliant, and accessible documentation throughout the lifecycle of large-scale construction or engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities Process incoming and outgoing project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, memos, meeting minutes, and transmittals. Maintain version control and ensure proper document filing, archiving, and retrieval using document management systems. Monitor compliance with internal document control standards and project-specific procedures. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and external contractors to ensure timely and accurate document updates. Assist with preparation of document packages and reports for internal use and audits. Support quality control by flagging incomplete or improperly formatted documentation. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in document control, preferably within a construction, engineering, or infrastructure environment. Strong proficiency in document management software (e.g., Prolog, Aconex, SharePoint) and Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of document lifecycle workflows, versioning, and archival practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Work Environment On-site position based in Los Angeles. May require occasional travel between project offices or field sites.
