Job Description
Overview Operate equipment and import documents into document management system. Responsibilities Will be required to perform hard document scanning, cleaning, indexing and archiving.
Retrieve electronic and hard copy assets from repository for distribution to users, collecting and returning to repository, if necessary. Search electronic sources, such as databases or repositories, or manual sources for information. Implement scanning or other automated data entry procedures, using imaging devices and document imaging software. Identify and classify/index documents or other electronic content according to characteristics Prepare and record changes to official documents and confirm changes with legal and compliance management staff. Work with highly sensitive and confidential documents and information. Operate large plotters and scanners for the purpose of printing and scanning large engineering drawings. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Must have 5 or more years of experience with various imaging devices. Good computer skills Excellent customer service skills. Requires a professional attitude and appearance. Work requires high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines. Physical activity required includes bending, light lifting, reaching and prolonged periods of sitting. Mental qualifications include ability to index documents.
