$115 Overview We're looking for a Document Control Specialist to support document management and workflow processes for capital/industrial projects. This person will help maintain structured documentation systems, improve workflows, and ensure compliance across stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience 1-4 years of experience in document control, project administration, or information management (ideally supporting capital or industrial projects) Experience with document management platforms such as AODocs, Google Workspace, Point, or OpenText Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, version control, and transmittals High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills Experience managing large volumes of documentation across multiple teams Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets; basic formulas/macros) Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or energy industries is a plus Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage controlled documents across multiple formats and systems Build and refine document workflows, approval processes, and metadata structures in AODocs Review incoming documentation to ensure standards and compliance are met Create templates, standard metadata, and automated routing to improve efficiency Track document status and workflow progress through reports and dashboards Conduct QA/QC checks to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly stored Train internal teams and external vendors on document control processes and tools Partner with cross-functional teams to improve and standardize document workflows Physical & Work Environment Operate a computer and standard office equipment regularly May be required to work in construction zones wearing PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes) Walk moderate distances or remain stationary for extended periods Ability to climb stairs or step over low barriers (
