We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control & Quality Coordinator to support our Quality Management System and manufacturing operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing manufacturing organization while developing expertise in quality systems and regulated manufacturing environments. Position Summary The Document Control & Quality Coordinator is responsible for maintaining controlled documents, training records, production travelers, and quality documentation in support of AMG's AS9100 Quality Management System. This role works closely with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to ensure documentation is accurate, current, compliant, and readily available to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining accuracy and process discipline in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, revise, distribute, and maintain controlled documents and quality records. Create and maintain production travelers, routers, and supporting manufacturing documentation. Maintain employee training records, training matrices, and related documentation. Support document control activities in accordance with AS9100 and internal quality system requirements. Assist Quality, Engineering, and Production teams with documentation needed to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements. Ensure document revisions are properly reviewed, approved, controlled, and communicated throughout the organization. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits by providing documentation, records, and audit support. Maintain electronic and hard-copy document filing systems and records retention processes. Assist with quality reporting, data entry, document tracking, and record management activities. Coordinate documentation activities across Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Production departments. Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system enhancement projects. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of controlled documents and company records. Perform additional administrative and quality support duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control, quality administration, manufacturing coordination, or a related role. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic document management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree or higher in Business, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Experience supporting
AS9100, ISO
9001, or other regulated Quality Management Systems. Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality documentation, and document control requirements. Experience supporting internal or external quality audits. Familiarity with ERP systems, manufacturing documentation, and quality records management. Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
