Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the management, control, and distribution of essential documentation across various departments. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, while maintaining the integrity and accessibility of all records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality management processes and support operational excellence through meticulous document oversight. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures aligned with
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, and other relevant standards. Manage document management systems, including SharePoint and ERP platforms, to organize, store, and retrieve files efficiently. Oversee filing systems—both electronic and physical—ensuring documents are accurately categorized and easily accessible. Conduct regular audits of records management practices to guarantee compliance with quality management protocols. Proofread and review technical documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency before approval or distribution. Facilitate data entry and data management activities related to document control processes. Support administrative tasks such as record retention, version control, and document distribution to internal teams and external auditors. Qualifications Proven experience in document management systems (e.g., SharePoint), records management, or administrative roles involving complex documentation workflows. Familiarity with quality management standards including
ISO 13485
(medical devices) and
ISO 9001
(quality management systems). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience with filing, data entry, proofreading, and technical writing to ensure accurate documentation. Knowledge of ERP systems and document control software is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for collaborating across departments. Previous experience in a regulated environment or within quality management is a plus. Pay:
$33.00 - $35.00 per hour
