Job Description

Come Join Our Team! DKW Communications, Inc. (DKW) is a government contractor providing professional and technical services to various government agencies i.e. defense, law enforcement and security. We are currently looking for a Documentation Specialist to join our winning team. The individual hired for this position will provide support to our government customer located in Pensacola, FL. Overview The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining databases, document processing, scanning, data entry, and applying records disposition schedules.
Specific duties include:
Responsible for the Maintenance Trainer and Flight Simulator technical publication library Finalize documentation changes associated with all trainer modifications Maintain archive copies of technical manual changes in both paper and electronic format Assist with conducting equipment inventory, and DRMO inventory Update and maintain technical drawings, parts lists, wire lists, etc. that pertain to AV-8B flight simulators and maintenance trainers Assist ISEO with the review of out sourced CDRL documentation Communicate with engineers during trainer modifications Inspect and incorporate all subcontract changes and upgrades to maintenance trainer technical manuals Requirements Must have a Secret security clearance or higher High School Diploma (College degree/education preferred) Prior experience updating & maintaining documents and manuals Capability to analyze, understand & accurately apply records management principals, process & organize paper and electronic files, and perform detail-oriented tasks Working knowledge of data entry processes and popular professional office software suite of applications, i.e., word processors, data entry screens, spreadsheet, and database query Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment •All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.•
