Quality Document Control Manager Quality Document Control Manager Position Name Evans General Contractors Evans General Contractors Company At a Glance Position Location Alpharetta, GA Remote Type Onsite Job Description Summary/Objective The Quality Document Control Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of document control processes for the Evans General Contractors, LLC (Evans) Quality Department and beyond. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of quality-related documentation in alignment with Evans' standards, project requirements, and industry regulations. This individual will serve as a key partner to Senior Management, the Quality Department and Project Teams, driving consistency across platforms, supporting compliance initiatives, and strengthening document management practices throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain a centralized repository for all quality related documents, managing the creation, approval, and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Processes, Policies, and Quality Documents. Standardize document naming conventions, numbering systems, and version control practices across all Evans' departments and projects. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance document control processes across Evans including but not limited to RFIs, Submittals, Execution Plan, Closeout, among others. Monitor and enforce document control compliance across Project Teams, Regional Offices, and departments. Lead the document change control process, including tracking revisions, maintaining version histories, and ensuring obsolete versions are removed and archived. Ensure timely updates and accessibility of SOPs, Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manuals. In addition, ensure updates are reviewed, approved, and communicated effectively. Ensure all documentation complies with Evans' internal standards, applicable industry requirements, and client specifications (if any). Participate in internal and external audits by preparing, organizing, and providing required documentation. Manage the issuance and distribution of controlled documents, ensuring that only current versions are in-use and that any changes are communicated effectively. Serve as the primary administrator for Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/Autodesk Forma) and other document management platforms, ensuring data integrity, user training, process improvements, checklists, and system validation. Ensure data integrity, system consistency, and compliance within all document control systems. Maintain document control alignment between all platforms used by the Project Teams and the Quality Department. Partner with Project Team to support document management needs and ensure quality documentation requirements are met throughout the project's lifecycle. Support Regional Quality Managers in ensuring the consistent execution of quality documentation standards across Evans. Along with the Training Department, schedule and set up training for Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors. Support the Quality Department's training schedules and certification tracking. Ensure the Quality Defined Intranet resource page is updated. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management preferred. Proven experience managing document control processes within a project-based environment preferred. Experience developing standardized processes and system improvements. High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and excellent written/verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / Autodesk Forma), Procore, CxAlloy, or similar platforms. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines in a demanding environment. Demonstrates ability to train and support cross-functional teams.
