Job Description

Role:
Document Control Specialist Pay:
$35/hour
Assignment:
Temp assignment through October 2027
Location:
893 S Delaware St, Indianapolis, IN 46225
Schedule:
Must be flexible What you'll do:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of quality documents, including creation, review, approval, updating, and archiving
  • Ensure all documentation meets Global Quality Standards (GQS), Lilly Quality Standards (LQS), and internal procedures
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and compliance
  • Coordinate document approvals and routing through systems or workflows
  • Maintain organized document repositories so files are current and easy to access
  • Track and report document status, metrics, and updates to leadership
  • Support audits and inspections by ensuring documents are complete and ready
  • Identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement in documentation processes
  • Work with QA and other teams to support documentation needs for new processes or changes
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of document control experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment (GxP)
  • Hands-on experience with Veeva QualityDocs (required)
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, and documentation reviews
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of quality standards, policies, and document control processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
