Loan Documentation Specialist Position is eligible for remote work in Kentucky once fully trained for the position. Job Code LNDOC Job Family Supervisory No Job Description Title Loan Documentation Specialist - Pre Close Job Summary The Loan Documentation Specialist - Pre Close will support our lending staff in preparing and processing essential loan documents for many types of loans, including retail, commercial, agricultural, and home equity lines of credit. Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Gathers and prepares loan documents to be passed at the closing of the loan Establishes, maintains, and updates files, databases, records, and/or other documents pertaining to the financial transaction records Arranges and prepares loan documents to help ensure collectability of the loan Ensures that all required documents, forms, and agreements are collected and accurate Completes all tasks in compliance with federal and state rules and regulations and company policies Ensures the loan is properly funded in accordance with the loan closing statement Properly files and stores loan and supporting documents in compliance with retention guidelines and company policies and procedures Obtains and records data points needed to monitor and report compliance with various regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Education, Experience and Qualifications Education Required/Preferred Education Level Description Required High School or GED Preferred Bachelors Degree Degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred Years of Experience Minimum Comments 2 Two (2) years of experience in loan processing and/or documentation preferred License / Certification Required/Preferred License / Certification Description Additional Qualifications Core Competencies Oral and written communication skills Detail oriented Ability to multi-task Computer skills Organizational skills Clerical and administrative skills Ability to work as a part of a team Time management skills Working Conditions Working Conditions Indoors, environmentally controlled.
