SME Document Management Specialist The SME Document Management Specialist supports development, organization, and quality assurance of all deliverables under the AI RMF support program. This role ensures consistency, traceability, and compliance across governance, risk, TEVV, and standards documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
Documentation Development & Management Draft, edit, and maintain all program deliverables and artifacts Ensure alignment with NIST templates, standards, and style guides Maintain version control and document traceability Content Structuring & Quality Assurance Ensure clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy across documents Support development of frameworks, briefs, and reports Conduct quality reviews prior to submission Knowledge Management Organize and maintain centralized repository of deliverables Support reuse of artifacts and knowledge sharing Ensure documentation supports auditability and transparency Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with SMEs, analysts, and PM to develop deliverables Support synthesis of technical and analytical inputs into final products Assist with preparation of reports and presentations Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Management, or related field 5+ years of experience in document management or technical writing Experience supporting federal programs Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills Experience supporting AI, IT, or governance programs Familiarity with NIST documentation standards
