This role ensures regulatory compliance, manages documentation systems, supports audits, and helps drive a culture of food safety throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Manages Food Safety Library, SSOP's, FSPs, and other regulatory related documentation for all company locations. Manages the plant's internal auditing program and ensures plant is always audit ready. Works with FSQA Director during 3rd Party certification and regulatory audits. Ensure timely corrections are made to all inspection observations and monitor effectiveness. Work with company consultants. Manage Supplier Approval Program using Trustwell platform. Participate in creating quality and regulatory training for all plant personnel. Contribute to annual FSP re-analysis for all facilities. Calibration and verification of various analytical instruments in support of monitoring activities Perform various analytical measurements in support of
FSP/HACCP
Perform direct observation or obtain assistance with direct observation Monitor GMPs and conduct daily pre-operational and operational audits Perform environmental monitoring program swabbing and sampling Qualifications Bachelor's degree in food science or related field with 1-4 years' experience OR 4+ years' experience without a degree Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of quality regulations regarding
HACCP, GMP, SOP, SSOP, SPS
Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment, thermometers, weight scales, fat analyzer, and water activity meter HACCP, PCQI, or other relevant industry certifications
