We are searching for a highly motivated Loan Documentation Specialist to join our Loan Operations team. The Loan Documentation Specialist must effectively communicate regularly on information requests and the status of pending closings, among other responsibilities detailed below. This position requires a high school degree or equivalent, associate or bachelor's degree preferred, and 3 or more years' experience to commensurate with responsibilities detailed below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review loan documents in accordance with Bank policies and procedures while staying in compliance with regulatory requirements, including CRA, HMDA, OFAC, Flood, Patriot Act, Regulations B, O, U and Z, appraisal, environmental and beneficial ownership Manage individual workflow through the Bank's loan management system to determine timing, documentation parameters and required contents of the final loan package for closing Collaborate with the Loan Operations Team Lead and Manager on deal structure, supporting documentation and questions on additional items needed to prepare documents Collaborate with the Loan Coordination team on sending and receiving complete loan closing packages Openly communicate with Loan Operations, Loan Coordination and Relationship Managers on missing or additional items needed to finalize a loan closing Work in Laser Pro, the bank's core system for research purposes and the workflow system used for queue assignments and individual deal flow for documentation prep File or record necessary collateral documents to perfect the bank's security interest Perform quality assurance review of either new or renewed closed loans in our Bank's core system Create and manage outstanding documentation ticklers utilizing the Bank's workflow system Meet established turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy Indexing and/or review of daily work processes and closed loans in the Bank's imaging system Preform other duties as assigned by Team Lead or Manager QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
3+ years' experience in loan operations High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Experience with Laser Pro Motivated self-starter Detail oriented and highly organized Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team Quickly and proficiently comprehend new information Able to focus on key priorities and thrive in a complex and ever-changing environment Strong work ethic Stable under pressure or stress Willingness to learn and contribute to company's financial growth and profitability EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
