Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Document and Records Control Specialist to ensure the integrity, accessibility, and compliance of our company's documentation systems. In this vital role, you will oversee the management of electronic and physical records, maintain document control procedures, and support quality management initiatives. Your expertise will help uphold our standards for
ISO 13485
(medical device quality management), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), and other regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Manage and maintain document management systems, including SharePoint and ERP platforms, ensuring all records are accurate, current, and properly stored. Develop, implement, and monitor document control procedures aligned with ISO 13485 and
ISO 9001
standards to support regulatory compliance. Organize, file, and retrieve physical and electronic documents efficiently using best practices in filing and records management. Conduct proofreading and quality checks on technical documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency before approval or distribution. Support data entry tasks related to document tracking, audit trails, and record updates with high attention to detail. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper document version control and facilitate seamless document workflows. Assist in internal audits by providing organized documentation evidence; participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to document control processes. Qualifications Proven experience in document management or records control within a regulated environment; familiarity with
ISO 13485, ISO 9001
standards is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and data sets efficiently. Proficiency with document management systems such as SharePoint or similar platforms; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Excellent proofreading, technical writing, and data entry skills to ensure accuracy across all documentation. Knowledge of quality management principles, including document control procedures for medical devices or manufacturing sectors. Administrative experience supporting compliance activities or audit readiness is preferred. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail while collaborating effectively within a team. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
