Full Job Description Company Scope:

Our customers range from Fortune 500 consumer goods companies to boutique salons and beauty start-ups. We are looking for a Documentation Specialist to operate under the supervision of our Chemists. The successful candidate will be responsible for being a support to the Chemists by being the go-to personnel for creating documentation based on the needs of their clients. Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Vacation and Holidays 401K plan Responsibilities & Main Activities (includes, but is not limited to): Be the go-to Research & Innovation specialist to create documentation on behalf of the chemists. Responsible for responding to emails when copied to provide quick answers or holding responses on behalf of the chemists. Enter formula information to the WERCS Smart portal for customers in order to register products with WERCS. Upon stability completion, create stability summary report, scan the stability results with summary report into the system and save it into the Research & Innovation Sharepoint for access to all. Create qualitative and quantitative formula compositions with ingredient lists for label claim and artwork review as per customer and chemist request. Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOMs) working interdepartmentally through production execution. Be a team player to assist Chemists and Administrative Assistant. This may include but not be limited to helping with shipping samples or bulk and provide any documentation outside of daily tasks. This would include attending Aerosol dangerous goods and bulk training to assist with shipments. Practice safe work habits, including complying with all cGMP, safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
Skills:
Effective verbal, listening, and communications skills Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet goals on schedule and to ensure product quality Excellent Organizational Skills Strong attention to detail Committed to excellence Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field preferred
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
