Job Description

We are searching for a Document Specialist to provide onsite support in Henderson, NV. This position is expected to last for nine months and pays $16 per hour. Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and sort incoming mail and courier packages to ensure accurate indexing and timely document availability. Scan, convert, and validate physical documents into approved electronic formats using document management systems. Index, store, and archive documents in compliance with retention schedules and regulatory requirements. Print, assemble, and distribute system-generated documents, mass mailings, and internal materials within mandated deadlines. Process outgoing correspondence to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company service-level standards. Operate and maintain document services equipment including printers, scanners, cutters, and related machinery. Manage shared electronic mailboxes for print requests, claim kits, and special document handling requests. Coordinate with internal departments such as HR, Legal, and Finance to support efficient document workflows. Track production metrics and complete required operational and performance reports. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws while performing all duties. Requirements High School diploma or GED required. Prior experience in document services, mailroom operations, clerical support, or a high-volume administrative environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Working knowledge of standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, and mail processing machines. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting service-level and regulatory deadlines. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate document handling and recordkeeping. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. Familiarity with insurance, medical terminology, or postal regulations preferred.
