Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized Document Control Coordinator to support a small engineering and manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining electronic records, processing document updates, organizing engineering files, and ensuring accurate document control throughout the organization. Rochester, NY 100% on-site office location in manufacturing facility $22-$24/hr | Full-Time | Day Shift This position is a great fit for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with spreadsheets, databases, file management, and detailed documentation. Responsibilities Scan, upload, organize, and maintain engineering drawings and documents Manage document revisions and ensure current versions are available to production and internal teams Process document changes and update records within company systems Create and maintain manufacturing order folders and supporting documentation Perform data entry, file validation, document tracking, and records management activities Assist with updating procedures, work instructions, and standard documentation Generate reports, spreadsheets, charts, and other administrative materials as needed Support the transition of paper records into electronic systems Provide general administrative support to the engineering department Qualifications Previous experience in administrative support, document control, records management, data entry, or office coordination Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Experience with document management systems, ERP software, or engineering databases is a plus What We're Looking For Detail-oriented and dependable Comfortable working with large volumes of electronic files and records Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, quality, or operations teams is beneficial Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
