Hire Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Document Control Specialist to manage project documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless communication between teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong Microsoft Excel skills , the ability to identify and note discrepancies , and collaborate effectively with Project Engineers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, organize, and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence. Utilize Excel to track document statuses, update logs, and create reports or summaries as required. Identify, flag, and document any discrepancies in drawings, specifications, and revisions. Coordinate with Project Engineers to clarify document inconsistencies and ensure resolution. Control the flow of documents within the project team and external parties, ensuring accurate version control. Ensure documents comply with internal standards and project-specific requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing access to required documentation. Assist in developing and improving document control procedures and templates. Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a document control or similar administrative role, preferably in an engineering or construction environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, formulas). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical staff. Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore, SharePoint) is a plus. TULFA
