Rhoads Summer Internship Program The Rhoads Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experience offered during the summer break, designed to provide students with meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities. Interns gain real, on-the-job training by working alongside experienced professionals, contributing to active projects, and developing practical skills relevant to their field of study. The program focuses on professional growth, exposure to day-to-day operations, and building a strong foundation for future career success. Quality Support Intern Opportunity We are currently looking for a Quality Support Intern to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The Quality Intern will support the Quality team with document control and records management initiatives. This role will focus on auditing existing project files and assisting with efforts to improve organization, compliance, and storage efficiency. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with quality documentation and learning best practices in records retention and process improvement. What You Will Be Doing Audit drawers, cabinets, and shelving containing legacy project binders and quality documentation
Verify retention requirements by ensuring all Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) is properly scanned and archived in accordance with the 7-year retention policy
Identify and assist with the disposal of expired records to optimize physical storage space
Support the organization and restructuring of archived files to improve accessibility and efficiency
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling sensitive quality documentation
Collaborate with the Quality team to streamline filing and records management processes
Additional duties as assigned Your Background Currently pursuing a degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, especially when handling documentation and records
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with scanning or document management systems is a plus
Interest in quality processes, compliance, or records retention best practices
Ability to review information carefully and identify gaps or inconsistencies
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to improve processes
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on structured projects
Experience with filing systems, data entry, or administrative tasks (preferred but not required) What's in It for You?
