Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Architectural BIM Specialist to lead and advance BIM implementation across architectural projects. The role focuses on model management, BIM standards development, QA/QC of Revit deliverables, automation and scripting to improve team efficiency, and close coordination with design and technical teams. The ideal candidate partners with project teams and the BIM Manager to ensure high-quality, coordinated models that support design, documentation, and visualization goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enforce BIM standards, templates, families, and workflows to ensure consistent project deliverables and compliance with firm and client requirements.

Perform model coordination and clash detection with other disciplines (MEP, Structural, Civil), coordinate resolution of issues, and document outcomes for project teams.

Conduct QA/QC reviews of Revit models and deliverables, checking for compliance with naming conventions, model organization, element classification, and drawing/document output.

Create and maintain Revit families, parametric components, and content libraries to support productive and accurate modeling.

Develop and implement automation and productivity tools using PyRevit and other scripting solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve model quality.

Produce visualization assets and graphic outputs using Enscape and Revit for design reviews, client presentations, and marketing collateral.

Provide training, mentoring, and support to project teams on BIM tools, practices, and workflows; run workshops and create documentation and standards guides.

Support the BIM Manager with project onboarding, technology evaluations, and implementation of new BIM processes, tools, and best practices.

Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to facilitate model exchanges, data transfer, and to ensure models meet project delivery requirements.

Track and report BIM metrics and maintain a continuous improvement mindset to advance BIM maturity across the office.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field preferred.3+ years of professional experience in architectural BIM roles; experience as a BIM Specialist or BIM Manager is a strong plus.

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for modeling, documentation, family creation, and project setup.

Practical experience with PyRevit (or similar Revit scripting tools) to develop automation and productivity enhancements.

Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, clash detection processes, and QA/QC procedures.

Familiarity with visualization tools such as Enscape and producing presentation-ready outputs from Revit.

Experience with or knowledge of DIRoots (DIRoots workflows or family/content management) and related content management tools is desirable.

Knowledge of AIA standards and architectural documentation practices, and the ability to apply them within BIM deliverables.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to train and mentor team members and liaise with consultants and clients.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
