27 Weeks Job Summary Seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Specialist to support documentation improvement initiatives in an acute care setting. This role focuses on ensuring accurate, compliant, and complete clinical documentation aligned with regulatory and reimbursement standards.Schedule Day Shift:
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Fully Remote Position Key Responsibilities Review and improve clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness Ensure compliance with regulatory and third-party documentation requirements Collaborate with providers and clinical teams to enhance documentation quality Utilize EMR systems for documentation review and workflow management Support coding accuracy and reimbursement optimization initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (required); Bachelor's in Nursing preferred Clinical background: RN, NP, PA, or Physician (required) Minimum 5 years recent acute care hospital experience and/or documentation improvement experience Experience working in an EMR environment Strong knowledge of regulatory and documentation improvement standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3M Encoder Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .Similar jobs in New York, NY
