Job Description
Job Summary The HR Operations & Systems Documentation Specialist creates clear, highly detailed training resources and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role bridges the gap between complex Human Resources systems and user-friendly employee guides.
Key Responsibilities SOP & Job Aid Creation :
Build step-by-step technical guides, process workflows, and reference materials.
Automated Documentation :
Use Scribehow to capture, edit, and publish digital tutorials quickly. Scribehow experience a
Plus Visual Editing :
Capture and crop system screenshots, adding clear visual callouts and annotations.
Content Quality Control :
Review training materials for flawless grammar, formatting, and structural consistency.
HR System Maintenance :
Navigate and document workflows within enterprise HR software.
Qualifications Technical Writing :
Proven experience writing technical SOPs and step-by-step job aids.
Software Proficiency :
Mastery of Scribehow (or equivalent screen-capture tools) and image editing software.
HR Experience :
Foundational knowledge of core Human Resources operations and terminology.
Workday Knowledge :
Direct experience navigating, executing tasks, or configuring modules in Workday is highly preferred. Attention to
Detail :
Exceptional proofreading skills with a sharp eye for alignment, typos, and visual clarity. The ideal candidate would need to show proven success in these areas of formatting SOPs. This position is 40 hours a week and is a contract position for approximately 6 months. It is located in an office setting, with no opportunity to work from home.
