Hybrid (Monday-Wednesday onsite in University area) Overview Our financial services client is seeking experienced Commercial Loan Documentation Specialists to support a high-volume Lending Fulfillment team responsible for preparing documentation packages that secure the bank's collateral position across commercial real estate and non-real estate transactions. This role sits at the center of the loan closing process, partnering closely with bankers, portfolio managers, legal teams, and third-party vendors to gather due diligence documentation, prepare loan packages, and ensure transactions move efficiently toward execution. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial lending documentation knowledge with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and proactively drive deals to completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review commercial loan documentation packages supporting commercial real estate and business lending transactions Partner directly with front-office bankers and portfolio teams to collect information required for documentation and due diligence completion Coordinate and review supporting documentation including title work, appraisals, flood determinations, environmental reports, insurance documentation, and related collateral records Manage an active pipeline of transactions while balancing competing priorities and deadlines Utilize established document templates and maintain accuracy across loan documentation packages Communicate proactively with stakeholders to resolve documentation issues and prevent delays in closing timelines Ensure documentation meets internal requirements and state-specific lending regulations where applicable Support transaction execution from documentation initiation through closing readiness Required Qualifications 3+ years of commercial loan documentation, commercial lending operations, loan closing, or mortgage documentation experience Strong understanding of commercial loan documents and collateral-related documentation Experience reviewing and working with deeds of trust, titles, appraisals, business lending documentation, and related loan documents Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including working within document templates, formatting complex documents, and handling secure/encrypted documentation Proven ability to manage a pipeline of transactions and prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience interacting directly with business partners and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Commercial real estate lending documentation experience Mortgage origination documentation experience Experience with SimplyDocs Experience with LaserPro Experience supporting commercial loan closings or fulfillment functions within a bank or lending institution Ideal Candidate Profile Successful candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced lending environments. They are comfortable managing multiple transactions simultaneously, working directly with relationship managers and business partners, and proactively driving documentation packages through the fulfillment process. Please Note Candidates whose experience is limited to loan servicing functions without direct documentation preparation experience will not be considered. Mortgage origination documentation experience is highly transferable and strongly preferred.
