Full-time Education/Skills:
Associates Degree in business, manufacturing, English or related field preferred 3+ years experience in a manufacturing or quality environment Job Overview The Quality Administrator position supports the Quality Department by maintaining documentation, managing data systems, managing gauge calibration, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures. This position serves as a key administrative liaison between Quality, Operations, Engineering, and external stakeholders, by ensuring accurate recordkeeping, reporting integrity, and continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment. The Quality Administrator will develop strong supplier relationships, providing direct contact and support for laboratory equipment. This role partners with Operations and Quality to ensure inspection and production data is complete, traceable, audit-ready and maintained in accordance with document control requirements.
Essential Functions:
Executes various activities to support production, such as documentation maintenance, preparation, reviewing and filing of records Accurately enter and maintain quality records in compliance with USEV's requirements Assist in maintaining and communicating USEV's quality policies and procedures File completed records, including but not limited to, completed production records, calibration records, laboratory records, etc. Perform general administrative support duties for the Quality Department (i.e. filing, scanning, record retrieval, meeting support) Communication with Calibration Suppliers Collaboration with the Laboratory Team Adheres to all safety protocols and environmental regulations Helps provide input on causes or reasons for quality problems and recommends process changes if necessary. Supports Production in a manner that maximizes efficiency Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting ISO or IATF quality systems strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with ERP systems and Power BI strongly preferred Excellent organizational skills Superior problem-solving ability Strong professional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Other Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed. Position requires extreme attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time. Must maintain proper vision requirements Must be able to maintain alertness to their surroundings.
