The Quality Control Document Support role provides administrative and document management support to the Quality department. This position creates inspection documentation for In-process, Final, and First Article inspections and ensures that all inspection records, work instructions, NCRs, calibration records, and other quality documentation are accurately maintained, organized, and compliant with AS9100, ITAR, and customer requirements. The role works closely with QC Technicians, Inspectors, and Quality leadership to maintain traceability, support audits, and assist in generating reports and documentation packets. Document Control & Management Create and maintain accurate and organized quality documentation, including In-process, FAIs (Also AS9102 FAIs), and Final inspection records, calibration certificates, and COCs. Ensure all documents are filed correctly, traceable, and audit ready. Assist in assembling documentation packets for customer audits, internal reviews, or shipment records. Verify that documents are current, complete, and comply with internal procedures, customer requirements, and AS9100 requirements. Collaboration & Support Work closely with QC Technicians, Inspectors, and the Quality team to ensure proper documentation flow. Elevate discrepancies, missing records, or incomplete forms to the QC Lead or Quality Systems Manager. Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and process reviews as required. Provide general support to the Quality department, including preparing forms, maintaining logs, and tracking document revisions. Nonconformance & Traceability Support Assist in documenting NCRs, CAPAs, and corrective action data accurately. Support traceability of inspected parts and materials through proper documentation practices. Help track and report nonconformances and corrective actions as required. Continuous Improvement & Compliance Follow all established quality procedures, safety policies, ITAR requirements, and company standards. Maintain workstation cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of controlled documents. Participate in training on QMS, document control, and internal quality processes. Suggest improvements to documentation workflows, recordkeeping, and traceability processes. Qualifications High school diploma required; associate degree or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, or technical fields preferred. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings/blueprints is strongly preferred. Knowledge of GD&T tools and basic dimensioning is required. 1+ years of experience in quality documentation, manufacturing, or administrative support (education/training may substitute). Basic understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and documentation control principles. Familiarity or willingness to learn AS9100, ISO
9001, ITAR, and customer-specific requirements. Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems (JobBOSS preferred). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and support multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to learn quality processes, NCR handling, and document control procedures. Pay:
