New Technical Training and Documentation Specialist Austin, TX Sourceability® is a global digital distributor of electronic components transforming how modern businesses bring products to market. We are looking for a dynamic Technical Training and Documentation Specialist to become a vital part of our vibrant IT Team, working hyrbidly in our Austin, TX office. As a Technical Training and Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering technical training programs that enhance employees' technical capabilities. The role focuses on identifying skill gaps, creating learning strategies, and implementing training initiatives to support organizational technology goals. Insight on your impact:
Identify technical skill gaps and training needs across teams. Design and develop technology-focused training programs and learning materials. Deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and webinars for employees. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and product teams to align training with business needs. Develop e-learning modules, documentation, and knowledge resources. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Manage and update Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training records. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to keep training relevant. Support onboarding programs for new technical hires. Track and report training progress and outcomes to management. Familiarity with DAPS. Your qualifications, your influence: To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, HR, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development or technical training. Experience delivering technical or IT-related training programs. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
Preferred skills and technical familiarity:
Adding additional insight, and a growth mindset, will elevate your contribution in this role Knowledge of software development, cloud technologies, or data tools. Experience creating digital learning content and instructional design. Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or modern software development practices. Certifications in Instructional Design or Learning & Development.
