Complete all steps necessary to process and complete documents for the export of the container and bulk shipment business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Complete accurate export paperwork in a timely manner for customers prior to shipment arriving at destination. Provide information or answer inquiries quicky and professionally with other departments, customer and shipping lines. Problem solving within the company as well as with outside sources, referring to quality, quantity or other concerns. Conduct thorough review of export documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards. Input AES and Manifest bookings, Enter L/C or shipping instructions apply for Phytos by utilizing government websites. Maintaining organized folders and filing system. Ordering supplies and managing equipment when issues occur. Updating and maintaining manual with revised information. Scanning and making copies of documents. Record keeping of contract reports as payments are advised. Assume coworker's duties when on vacation or out of the office. Use courier services such as Fedex, UPS, and DHL to track shipments and make labels.

Position Requirements:

Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and time management/ multitasking. Microsoft Office Suite and third-party website experience. Ability to communicate and work well in a team setting. Customer service experience as this position will be working with customers and multiple steamship lines. 6 months export experience preferred. 6 months customer service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience

Additional Position Information:

Ability to sit for long periods of time, willingness to work extended hours during peak season and occasional weekends and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
