Job Description:
We are seeking a person to join our Quality Compliance team as a Chemical Compliance Engineer. This role is important to ensure our company maintains the highest standards for regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemistries in parts/materials and can work with our Design & Procurement team to identify where we have restricted chemicals in our products while proposing potential replacements (if available).
Responsibilities:
Follow changes to regulatory requirements US, EMEA, Asia and translate it into product requirements Proactively engage with the appropriate Industrial Organizations like SEMI Compliance Working Groups Collaborate with Advantest internal Compliance teams. Responsible for customer inquiries on regulatory topics and material compliance declarations Maintain and support our "Design for the Environment" guideline Support environmental aspects for all US based new product development projects & product end of Life Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on environmental aspects Manage Advantest requirements in fulfilling global environmental product compliance Generating routine compliance reports for authorities as necessary Manage PFAS, RoHS 3, REACH, SCIP & other substance data gathering, compliance and regulatory changes as needed
