This is a role focused on supporting fleet wide environmental compliance for air quality.
Job Role:
Lead environmental regulatory compliance activities for utility-scale power generation facilities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental requirements. Evaluate proposed and final regulatory changes, assess operational impacts, and provide strategic guidance on compliance obligations and implementation. Develop, prepare, and manage environmental permit applications, renewals, and modifications to support plant operations and maximize operational flexibility. Coordinate and review environmental reporting and regulatory submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely compliance with permit conditions and applicable regulations. Provide technical expertise related to Clean Air Act regulations, including
NSPS/NESHAP
applicability, New Source Review requirements, CEMS QA/QC programs, stack testing protocols, and air permitting thresholds. Manage environmental consultants and engineering contractors, including scope development, budgeting, contract administration, and project execution oversight. Partner with plant operations and maintenance personnel to provide regulatory guidance, develop compliance training programs, and promote environmental stewardship across facilities. Monitor environmental performance data, conduct compliance assessments, identify potential risks, and recommend corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance. Build and maintain productive relationships with regulatory agencies, industry organizations, and cross-functional teams while leading environmental initiatives and special projects as assigned. #ENG1
