Job Description
The ADAS Homologation Specialist serves as the internal lead for regulatory compliance and certification for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and automated driving features. This role functions as the global company's North American ADAS regulatory compliance and certification subject matter expert for domestic and import products providing guidance throughout the product development cycle. Additionally, the role also serves as the primary ADAS homologation support contact for North Americanengineered exports supporting crossregion inquiries and ensuring alignment with applicable ADAS regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the certification strategy and execution for all ADAS and automated driving systems, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Traffic Jam Assist, Highway Assist, and related perception and control technologies.
Support Engineering to ensure designs meet global ADAS and automated driving regulations, including
FMVSS/NHTSA
guidance, UNECE regulations (e.g., R152, R130, R157), EU General Safety Regulation (GSR), and other international standards.
Develop and manage detailed certification plans, including validation and compliance test schedules, documentation requirements, technical dossiers, and agency interactions.
Interface with regulatory authorities and thirdparty labs to secure approvals, resolve technical questions, and negotiate acceptance of compliance documentation.
Monitor global ADAS regulatory changes and provide proactive guidance to ensure future programs remain compliant.
Represent the homologation function in ADAS design reviews, safety assessments, milestone meetings, and global program discussions.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EngineeringMinimum of 5 years of engineering experienceExperience working on automotive systems and subsystems such as sensors, control modules, perception systems, braking/steering actuators, or vehicle networks in the context of ADAS or automated driving functionsExtensive knowledge of global ADAS and automated driving regulations, including
FMVSS/NHTSA
rulemaking, UNECE ADAS regulations, and EU General Safety Regulation (GSR)Automotive regulatory background, program management experience, and familiarity with ADAS or automated driving testing
Preferred Qualifications:
